Daeho Kalbijjim and Beef Soup: Authentic Korean Comfort Food in Bellevue

We ordered the Daeho Kalbijjim and it was actually so good! The short ribs were super tender and the cheese made it even better. The portion is rather big so it’s perfect for sharing. I think our server’s name was Sharon and she was super friendly and attentive by checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall a great place if you’re looking for some Korean comfort food!

What a good fine for Korean food. A little expensive but you damn sure get your moneys worth. The portions are huge.!! Plenty of parking right off of I 90 easy to get to. They said we had a 30 minute wait but it turned out to be just 15 minutes. I’m not gonna try to explain what we ate. You can see from other pictures but it was very good they vacuum sealed your leftovers and I heated it up two days later and it was still fabulous. Definitely go there again. Staff was very friendly.

Came here on Valentines Day, I had a reservation but was late due to traffic. Luckily they had a grace period so I was still able to be seated. We ordered Kalbi Sot Bab, Kalbitang, Kalbi Japchae, and Steamed Egg with Cheese (fyi it does have Japanese Mayo on it which isnt mentioned on the menu). The food was sooooo good, especially the Kalbi Japchae. I have been here a few times and the food is very consistent in taste and portion size. The portions are big which i think justifies the pricing. I think they only recently started to sell Sot Bab but it seems a lot of people were ordering it and my husband said it was really yummy. Our server, Andy, was awesome and attentive! Will def be coming back

Great galbi jjim is a must try— perfectly balanced sweetness and incredibly tender meat. Generous portion size too, plenty to share among 3 people. Staff are friendly and environment is great for friend gathering.

Amazing food. We got the galbijim with tendon and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The wait is long but it makes sense when you consider how fantastic the food is!

The broth was incredibly rich and clean at the same time, and you can tell it’s been simmered properly for hours. The noodles were perfectly chewy and fresh, and the portions were very generous. All the banchan were well-seasoned and tasted fresh, especially the kimchi, which had a great balance of spice and fermentation.

Daeho Kalbijjim in Bellevue was packed when we arrived, with a pretty long line, so that already told us this spot is popular. Once we got seated, the food overall was really good. That said, the panchan could’ve been better, and for the price point, we felt the beef quality could be a bit higher. Still, the dishes were tasty and enjoyable, so it didn’t take away too much from the experience. Service was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. Overall, a solid Korean spot and definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for Korean food.

The restaurant serves delicious, authentic food and was bustling with customers when we were there for dinner. Along with the main dishes, they offer a great variety of flavorful side dishes that make the meal even more satisfying.
